I realized last night that I am surrounded by a rare group of people, all interested in Woodturning, but also interested in sharing ideas and techniques.  This is a rare thing in many art medias, where people like to keep that cutting edge idea close to the vest.  Last night was a wonderful demo by Barbara Dill at Keystone Woodturners (my third Wednesday of the month jam!).  She opened all of our eyes to thinking outside the box.  But Danielle Barbour made the night so special with her energy, enthusiasm and the most fantastic cakes I have eaten in a long time.  No one went into a sugar coma – No, everyone was energized for the second half of Barbara’s Demo.  I am lucky to have these two fine ladies in my spin.
