I was juried for a show in Philadelphia this fall, the curator was confused by my submitting works on canvass, glass, and wood. He made some comment along the lines that I didn’t seem to have developed into a single style and perhaps I needed direction.

For awhile I thought — good advice. Then I started thinking more deeply about the subject and it occurred to me that when people think of Picasso they think Cubism. In fact over his life he had 7 distinctive styles. Surely I was entitled to a few.
